Pre-K Program
The Pre-K Program at Happy Heart is a structured, yet fun, way to prepare your child for future kindergarten experiences.
All learning is done in a well-equipped, safe classroom, led by a certified, experienced teacher and accompanied by an experienced aide. The Pre-K program of study meets or exceeds the Pre-K standards for learning established by the PA State Aligned Standards System. Letter and number recognition, phonics skills, introduction to poetry and rhymes are all a part of the Pre-K curriculum. Play periods involve specific “centers” that enhance your child’s ability to share with classmates, to reason and to problem-solve. Art projects that correspond to Circle Time topics and reinforce the learned information are created during each class session.
